Passport & Kin

Somewhere along the way of planning these trips, I realized that we’d created something much more than just a trip. What we ended up with is a community, well, quite frankly, a family. I’ve gained so many aunties, sisters and cousins through this journey of traveling the world together, and I started to realize that I wasn’t the only one.

I’ve been working for a while on how to turn this organic community into something that can grow with the business, and I think I’ve finally got it. That’s where Passport & Kin comes from. My foundations are my faith and my family. That’s the perspective that informs everything I do. So it was only natural, that this travel community developed into a family, of sorts. People who meet up again and again, all over the world, like a global family reunion! And just like the family reunions, you all are always bringing someone new into the fold.

Now, we have a space to develop that community even further and keep it going between the trips. In this community, you’ll be able to…

• See if the travel friend you met on the trip two years ago is booking the trip that just dropped, so y’all can meet up!

• Let your friends get to know the folks that you travel with long before dropping that deposit, giving them the confidence to know that this group is solid.

• And have a place to chop it up about all things travel and culture with people who are like-minded, and maybe some who think a little differently. A go to place to get the latest travel tips, information, news and tea!

Everything hasn’t been finished yet, but I’ve learned to stop waiting for perfection — just do the thing. And because y’all are day ones, you’ll get to be front row and center during the transition, seeing it in real time. It might get bumpy, we might have some hiccups along the way. I can tell you though, what won’t change is the trips are gonna still be amazing, the booking process for now remains the same, and as always, we’re only an email, text or call away for the questions that need answers.

So let’s go! Our FIRST meetup is happening THIS SUNDAY, August 9th @ 6pm! We’re having our very first FAMILY MEETING over SUNDAY DINNER! This is a virtual meetup, where we’ll talk more about the Passport & Kin community, our upcoming trips and just hang out with eachother. The plan is for it to last only about an hour. There’ll be giveaways and a SUPER SPECIAL EXCLUSIVE OFFER to only those who are on the meeting!
